to all the volunteers who helped make our Purim Carnival such a success!
The children all seemed to have a wonderful time!
We were all very excited about
Claire Glezer’s bat mitzvah in April. It
is hard to believe that I have taught her since she was just learning to read
English, let alone, Hebrew. Congratulations
to you and your family, Claire!
Looking forward, Judy Manz is coordinating an exciting visit to Bristol
Caverns for our next youth group event. If
you have any questions or would like to offer assistance, please let her know.
I’d like to remind the Glezer’s they are in charge of the snacks
during the month of May.
Also, I’d like to remind all parents that Israelfest will be held in
Knoxville on May 15 from noon - ? If
anyone would like to volunteer to assist us in carpooling, please let me know,
as we will be coordinating the travel arrangements to and from the celebration.
I am amazed this school year has flown by as quickly as it has, but the Hello
Summer! picnic is just around the corner!
We will be celebrating the end of the school year on May 22, with a
picnic at noon and great fun to be had by all!
I would like to thank the Glezer’s, Dowdy’s and Chandler’s ahead of
time for their offer to help make this a special day for the students.
In this bulletin you will find the registration form for the next school
year. Please complete the forms and
turn them in at the Hello Summer! picnic so we can start making plans for
classes, the number of textbooks the fall and the volunteers that make it all
possible.
I’d like to end the school year with one final request……if anyone
has supplies they would like to donate to the religious school, please let me
know. We are particularly in need
of a television to accompany the DVD player that we already have.
